So I recently switched from iPhoto to Lightroom 5 Creative Cloud Edition to process and organize my raw photo collection from my Nikon D60. Price wise it is $10 a month or you can do it by the year which is a great deal it is what they call their photography pack which consists of Lightroom & Photoshop. This will always give you the latests versions and updates. It is real easy to use with my external hard drive which stores my photo library and my Lightroom collections. It has so many organizing functions such as collections, folders, and smart collections(which you can use conditions on your photos). It is also really fast at processing and organizing your photos as an example I came back with over 300 photos from my vacation to New York City and Lightroom had everything done that I wanted with that collection in 15 min. Also Lightroom has lots of ways to share your photos if you want to such as threw photobooks, Facebook, Flickr, and SmugMug.
