So yesterday I went a saw Age of Ultron at the new VIP theatre at Landsdown. It was a really good experience overall.
I used mobike Cineplex app to purchase and hold my ticket. Then put my ticket into passbook.
The VIP theatre has great seats that you reserve when you purchase your tickets so your guaranteed seats and seats together if your going with someone or a group. The seats are fantastic and can recline and also have a table for your food and drink that can be put in front of you and also the arm rest can go up to be closer to your date. And they also offer a real menus for food and drink which means no little kids in this theatre.
So today I had my try on session. Overall I love the look and feel of the 42inch size for myself.
Apple Watch black sport
So this is the watch I will be getting with the black sports band. The band feels really nice and the watch even at the larger size feels great on my wrist. The scree is amazing bright and sharp for text and pictures. Also the watchface customization is great. You can also really feel the tactic feedback for notifications and text.
Apple WatchWith Milanese Loop
This is a really sharp look with the stainless steel watch and loop it looks and feels amazing to the point that I really considering upgrading to the Apple Watch instead of just the Sport. It still feels light and looks good. The loop works great it can be set to any fit sense it secures with magnets.
I like the look of the leather bands but they don’t feel as good as I thought they would. The default sports band looks and feels much better to me.
“Our wrists simply can’t support a device big enough for everything we do on screens these days. I came to think of it as a filter instead, bringing what’s essential or pleasurable to me closer to me and editing out the rest.”
So Apple on Monday, March 9, 2015 just had their Spring Forward Event where they launched their Apple Watch, the new Retina Macbook, the cheaper Apple TV with HBO Now, and Apple Research Kit.
But to me I’m really only want the Apple Watch. I’m looking to hopefully getting the Space Grey 42mm Sport model which is $519. But it still has all the same functions as the other Apple Watches and can still use all the 42mm bands of the other watches. I really like the functions of getting notifations on the watch from my phone and being able to use the watch to respond to notifications and media. As well as using all the fitness things that this watch has it should be great.
You can pre-order the Apple Watch on April 10 2015 as well as go into stores and look and try on the watches. But the $10000+ Apple Edition will only be in certain stores and limited supplies. The watch will ship on April 24 2015.
Well with WoW Insider going away this week and the fact that use to love reading this site and listing to their podcast. I have decided to help support their new venture Blizzard Watch. Also at the same time I have supported other podcasts that I love such as Angry Chicken, Into the Nexus, and Cordkillers.
This is done from the site patreon if you want to help support varoius people or projects.
Well I decided two months ago to buy a Pebble Steel and have been using it daily ever since. I really like this watch since it can work with both iOS and Android phones that use Bluetooth 4.0 and LE. Plus the hardware for this watch is very nice and you can use two different custom bands either a leather one or a steel link one ( does not allow normal watch bands as it uses a custom link.) This watch especially when you use the leather band is pretty lightweight and non obtrusive.
This watch uses a app on both iOS and Android to pair it with your phone and manage your watch apps and faces as well as various other settings. You can keep up to 8 watch faces and or apps on your watch at a time. You can still use more apps and watch faces but you would have to rotate the others into the locker. For notifications on iOS it sends every kind over that you have enabled on your phone for notifications but on Android you can configure your notifications more. The great thing with this watch is you know when you get a notification it has a very strong vibration motor that buzzes every time your phone gets a notification that you want to be notified with. Plus you can accept or decline calls with your watch and control your music or media playback that is happening on your phone with your watch.
Battery life on this watch lasts between 5 to 7 days depending on your watch face and how many notifications you receive on a daily.
Overall I would recommend this watch especially if you are looking for a cross platform smartwatch.
So Apple had their iPad & Mac event yesterday Oct 16 2014 that talked about iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, Rentina iMac, finally new Mac Mini, as well as the launch dates for Apple Pay, Watch Kit, and iOS 8.1, Yosemite.
