So to get this out of the way I have been a Android user for the past four years but this phone and iOS 8 with third party keyboards, extensibility, and the new share sheets and not to mention handoff and continuity brought me back to Apple.
This phone feels great to hold with its rounded corners and even feels better in the hand with a case like the Apple leather one. Also coming from Android the button layout is what I’m use to with the volume buttons on one side and the power button on the other side.
This phone screams with everything you normally do like general use, games, browsing the web, playing with all kinds of apps.
Again this is the best and easiest to use smartphone camera out there especially with photo apps being able to now have access to manual controls of the camera.
This phone has lasted more than 12 hours of heavy use for me on a consistent basis.
Well I just got an iPhone 4 yesterday and last night and most of today so far using it.
The iPhone is so great I even find it faster than my old 3GS and it is also faster at taking pictures and pretty much everything else. This phone even has a slightly longer battery life as well which is great. The new Retina display is amazing makes everything so much more crisper and vivid. The build quality of the device is also really great and it feels very nice too. My biggest improvement to me though is the speaker phone for voice and music is great and much better then the 3GS.
I so want a iPhone 4 but my main reason is that it has increased battery life and the fact that i love the design. But then again it also has that amazing display which has been kept at the same size as previous iPhones but that helps with the resolution and dppi of the display. Also the new camera system of 5MP and LED flash and 720p video with autofocus which also ties into the new display. But there are lots more reasons but those already listed are my main ones.
Well today I have completed my travel pack. Which now consists of Mophie juice pack air and Shure 115m+ headphones. The juice back is amazing case it is soft rubber but also includes a battery pack to extend the life of the iPhone battery. The Shure headphones are also great sounding and are in ear sound isolating so you don’t have to crank up the sound all the way to get good sound. The sound response of the headphones are pretty good and clear and has good bass response. Also these headphones have volume control for your iPhone to do all the sound control and voice commands.
Well today I walked one of my friends through setting up his iPhone and all the accompanying set ups of e-mail and such. Then showed him the app store and now he is hooked for good. He is now texting and downloading apps like there is no tomorrow.
Well this week Apple announced iPhone OS 4.0 which is adds some much needed thing. Such as multitasking which is done really well all you have to do is double click on the home bottom and it brings up all open applications that you can switch to and when you do switch it saves the state of your applications. It also brings in folders to organize your apps all you have to do is drag applications on top of one another and it creates a folder that automatically gets named by the types of apps you but inside it. But you can also rename the folders as well. The new OS also brings a unified mailbox, threaded messages, and the ability to have two exchange accounts. All this is in there and more such as iAD, Gamescenter, and of course iBooks. This update is coming in the fall to iPhones 3G, 3GS and up(no multitasking in the iPhone 3G and ) and to iPod touches (only 2n gen and up) and to the iPad in the fall.
